In Arunachal Pradesh seppa were Mr.Advani was adressing, Mr.Advani on Thursday challenged Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to a live television debate ahead of the Lok Sabha polls, like in the US, and also described Manmohan Singh as the weakest political head the country has ever seen.

Advani further added
"I have never seen a Prime Minister who has to take orders from the party high command to do anything for the country. Without Sonia Gandhi's approval, nothing moves in the government,"

After the anti-Muslim controversial no one backed the Varun Gandhi but Shiv Sena chief Bal Saheb Thackeray Backed Varun over his alleged hate speeches and described him as "the one Gandhi we like.

Varun thanked the Shiv Sena Chief Bal Saheb Thackeray for the support.


"I am overwhelmed by his support. I am grateful to him and thank him," party mouthpiece 'Saamana' on Wednesday quoted Varun as saying. The Sena chief had found "nothing wrong" with the controversial anti-Muslim remarks of BJP's Lok Sabha candidate from Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh.

"There is no need for Varun to apologise for his remarks" There is nothing wrong in what he has said. He is one Gandhi we like," Thackeray had said in an editorial in the newspaper, of which he is the editor. " the editorial had said, adding "Varun has spoken out the truth."

Election Commission is likely to slap a notice on Samajwadi Party leader Mulayam Singh Yadav for allegedly threatening a woman poll officer for cancelling arms licenses in Uttar Pradesh.

Taking note of Mulayam's controversial remarks against District Magistrate Ministhy Dileep at the meeting in Mainpuri, the UP electoral officer yesterday forwarded a report along with the CD containing the footage to the Commission.

Yadav had warned that he would register a complaint with the EC against the DM whom he accused of losing her sense of proportion and not being able to differentiate between a criminal and a common man. An angry Yadav had also suggested that she should get her "head checked" and asked her to mend ways within a week.
